We follow the legal Education Rule and CDC at the time of drafting our curriculum and also cover emerging interdisciplinary areas like technology and law, health law, sports law, media law, fashion law, and other advanced subjects. We have academic experts, industry professionals, and members of the legal community as external members of Our BOS for the review of the curriculum based on input from to keep it relevant and aligned with industry needs.
The School of Law also highlights global outreach and international exposure. Through academic collaborations, participation in international conferences, and interactions with legal experts worldwide, our students develop a broader understanding of global legal systems and practices.
Modern Infrastructure and Learning Facilities
We are very glad to announce that we have international students in each and every year and they have very excellent feedback for our School of Law. We have a multicultural academic environment. Students from various regions and backgrounds come together, creating a vibrant learning community. This diversity enriches classroom discussions and prepares students for work in a dynamic, multicultural legal landscape. We are celebrating all the festivals and respect all the religions equally as we believe in the philosophy of Unity in Diversity.
Practical Legal Exposure Beyond the Classroom
Practical exposure is a crucial part of our teaching approach. We arrange guest lectures each semester, where practicing senior advocates cover 30% of our syllabus. These experiences connect theoretical learning with practical application. The School has developed practical learning through activities like moot court exercises, legal drafting, client counselling, and internships.
Our collaborative clinical legal education initiatives strengthen this approach. Through legal aid camps, awareness programs, and community outreach activities, students engage with society and learn about real-life legal challenges. These experiences cultivate empathy and a strong sense of responsibility towards the community. We have received an appreciation letter from the government for our activities of legal aid and social work contribution.
The School also follows a Mentor-Mentee System. Faculty members offer continuous academic and personal guidance to students. This personalised mentoring helps students meet their academic goals and clarify their career aspirations. We also have the regular visit of the counsellor for solving the issues of students with regular Yoga and Meditation sessions.
Internships and Legal Drafting
We provide strong support for internships and placements, helping students gain experience with law firms, senior advocates, corporate legal departments, and judicial offices. These opportunities enable students to build professional networks and essential skills for their future careers.
Understanding that many students aspire to judicial careers, the School of Law offers free guidance for judiciary competitive examinations through focused training sessions and mentoring.
Focused Student Development
Student development is enhanced through national moot court competitions. Every year, we organise a National Moot Court competition where around 30 to 35 teams from different states participate. Such platforms help students refine their advocacy, analytical thinking, research skills, and teamwork. We also host legal fests and crime scene investigation competitions.
Additionally, we focus on holistic personality development through soft skill programs and value-added courses and also offer some Audit courses on non-credit basis. These programs improve communication skills, leadership qualities, professional ethics, and overall personality development, preparing students for the diverse demands of the legal profession.
